The Exodus
$2500 – $6100
Upper Antelope Canyon, Arizona
Upper Antelope Canyon offers fascinating splendor abstract beauty. Human artists, such as painters, often create fine art as they are inspired internally. They frequently represent their creativity and imagination by brush and paint, hoping that others will find it visually appealing. Yet, no human acted in the creation of shapes and light you see here. My only role was to capture it with my camera.
Can you visually imagine this picture with blue and green colors, instead of with the warm purples and oranges? Will it have the same aesthetically pleasing effect for you? As a nature photographer I have a hard time envisioning that it would be visually appealing with blues and greens. Why do I even mention this? Because I am continually blown away by the gifts we have been given in nature. I am amazed at the perfect combinations of color and shapes that we see in the natural world. They are arranged with such delicacy, that most of us marvel at their sight, as is the case with Upper Antelope Canyon. We humans have done nothing to create them. They are just there for our enjoyment.
When I examine the shapes, lines, textures, colors, tones, and shades of The Exodus, I am delighted by the eye-catching combinations. Upper Antelope Canyon presents such gentle lines in the sandstone. The opening to the outside world is big enough to illuminate the inside, but not large enough to overwhelm with light. The transition of purple to orange hues are so tender and gradual. It resembles a beautiful sculpture that is professionally lighted.
Upper Antelope Canyon is located just outside Page, Arizona on land which belongs to the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation. The Navajo refer to Antelope Canyon as โThe place where water runs through rocksโ. Although the canyon has been there for a very long time, it was only discovered in 1931 by a young Navajo girl who was herding her sheep. Various sources suggest that her name is Sue Tsosie, although I have not been able to find any official source to confirm that. Regardless of who discovered it, I am grateful that both Upper and Lower Antelope Canyon is available to us to visit and have our breath taken away.
This is the absolute highest luxury, museum quality product in fine art printmaking on the market today. Acrylic prints boast a tremendous range of vivid and bright colors, incredible sharpness and clarity, and an anti-reflective acrylic surface. Put together, these qualities result in an almost 3D looking showpiece, which immediately captivates and impresses the viewer. TruLifeยฎ acrylic prints are a fully finished wall art product, ready to be hung on your wall.
Lumachrome acrylic fine art prints reflect light with amazing luminescence due to the Iridium metal particles used in the print inks. Because of this, these museum quality prints appear as if they are lit from behind. In addition, the colors are amazingly vibrant and well saturated, while the dark areas maintain great detail. Furthermore, I use the anti-reflection, scratch resistant, and UV protective TruLifeยฎ acrylic as a standard on my limited edition prints.
Metal prints are a paperless fine art photographic product. The inks are directly infused and sealed onto an aluminum sheet, in order to produce this gallery quality, luxury artwork. ChromaLuxe metal prints result in a stunning, high-gloss fine art image, with bright and saturated colors. Metal prints have incredible image quality, archival properties, and physical durability.
Research has shown that ChromaLuxe metal prints will outlast, by three times, silver-halide photographic paper prints. Besides, metal prints are a remarkable high definition product, delivering high quality at a slightly lower price, compared to acrylic prints.
Large format print sizes with great quality are available for your interior. As a landscape nature photographer, I pride myself on being able to produce huge prints with sharpness and detail. Although printsย ย are available in custom sizes, my typical dimensions are: PANORAMIC – 20ร60, 30×90, 40ร120 and STANDARD – 30ร45, 40×60, 48ร72.
