Because the only way to preserve and convey the majesty of a captivating nature scene is to print it in a large size. The acrylic print is a multi-layer product, made of the following components (front to back order):
> ACRYLIC FACE – The acrylic layer, also known as Plexiglas (or Plexiglass), which covers and protects the actual print.
> TRANSPARENCY COLOR LAYER – The layer onto which the actual image is printed. It is infused with Iridium particles to give the final print almost a 3D look and feel.
> WHITE RC PAPER BASE – This layer is a white poly surface, which goes behind the print to present the image in its full color vibrancy.
> PROTECTIVE BACKING – This is a thick layer, designed to give rigidity and sturdiness to the entire photo print.
> ROMA FLOATING FRAME – The frame is an elegant, recessed rectangle which allows the art to be hung on a wall by giving it a floating look. It also provides additional stability of the entire construction.
The final product Lumachrome Acrylic print is a ready to hang, finished art masterpiece. It is museum quality grade, designed to maintain color vibrancy for over 120 years. The Lumachrome Acrylic print is the absolute finest quality fine art photographic product on the market. It has the best color range representation, bright and vibrant colors, detailed shadow areas, and overall detail and sharpness. In addition, I use the TruLife® acrylic. This is an amazing high-performance, anti-reflection technology, which removes a lot of glare while preserving the classic glossy look. It is also scratch resistant and UF4 95% UV protective.
The ChromaLuxe Metal print is a paperless fine art product, combining ink and aluminum. The technology itself is a very impressive process. First the digital image is printed onto what is referred to as “transfer paper”. It is then pressed against an aluminum sheet under high pressure and high temperature. This causes the inks to be literally infused from the paper onto the metal and are also sealed. This part of the process is called dye sublimation. Therefore, the parts of the finished print are:
> INK FACE – This is the sealed ink layer from the transfer paper. It has a clear, scratch resistant, high-gloss coating.
> WHITE SURFACE BASE – This is a thin white layer base on top of the aluminum, which allows the colors to be very vibrant.
> ALUMINUM METAL SHEET – This layer is the reason why this product is referred to, by most people, as a “metal print”. Instead of the ink print being on a paper surface, it is on an aluminum metal surface.
> PROTECTIVE BACKING – An acid-free black coating layer is applied to the back of the aluminum sheet, to provide sturdiness and rigidity.
> RECESS FLOATING FRAME – The frame is an elegant, recessed rectangle which allows the image to be hung on a wall by giving it a floating look. It also provides additional stability of the entire construction.
The final product ChromaLuxe Metal print is a ready to hang, finished art masterwork. It has tremendous image quality, archival properties, and physical durability. When I used to sell metal prints in Breckenridge, Colorado people would walk in the gallery and ask me if they were back lit, because of the amazing color vibrancy.

On my website you can purchase limited edition high quality fine art prints. Edition sizes range from 25 to 100 prints. What does this mean? It means that as a photographic artist I am making a commitment to never print more than the maximum number of the print edition. Therefore, if an image is Limited Edition 100, this means that no more than 100 people in the world will own a print of it. I digitally track the number of prints made for each image of my portfolio, in order to ensure that I am honoring my commitment.
Every Limited Edition print comes signed, as well as indicates the print edition number, which matches your Certificate of Authenticity. The artist signature is embedded digitally and made part the photographic print, to uniquely identify a Gintchin Fine Art masterpiece.
When you purchase a LImited Edition Gintchin Fine Art print, I will personally mail you (separately from the image) a Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing the identity and edition number of your new wall art. This document will contain a unique serial number matching the print’s digital record on my end. In addition, it will specify the print edition number, which will match the edition number on the actual print.

Every order requires the production of a brand new, custom fine art print. Production times can vary throughout the year. As a general rule – allow 6-8 weeks from the time you place an order, till the time the image is delivered to you.
