Lofoten wildflowers explode in this meadow with brilliant colors on an overcast evening. Watch the patterns as they form what seems like a pink river meandering through the grass. Even though direct sunlight is absent from the scene, these wildflowers appear bright and vibrant. A farmhouse hides behind the green trees and makes you wonder about the view its owners enjoy every day. The green hills and mountains in the background add a nice complement with their lushness.
I had spent most of that day driving through the Lofoten islands and these flowers would appear every now and again near the road. I kept looking for that perfect patch. I wanted lots of them and in a beautiful setting. When I drove past this view I could not resist and pulled over to photograph this meadow of color.
