A lush forest trail leads around the corner in a mysterious yet inviting way. Fern and mushrooms decorate the forest floor and add to the fairytale-like atmosphere.
I stumbled upon this quiet trail out of sheer curiosity and had one of the most amazing times quietly and slowly exploring. It was lush and wet, and full of mystery. Someone had taken the time to paint little eyes on various trees and rocks, which gave me the feeling that I was being watched.
In fact, one of those pairs of eyes is captured in this image. Look carefully at the largest tree trunk on the left side of the photograph. Now go vertically about half way on it, then notice the eyes on its right edge, as they look towards the trail.
