An abstract simplicity of a micro scene at the edge of a calm water lake captures the beauty that often goes unnoticed. As a nature photographer I like to stop and smell the roses. For me that sometimes means to notice and capture a small size beauty which will look great on a large size print.
This scene is both simple and complex. But you have to look closer. It is not just water and plant blades. What might be harder to notice are the tiny water drops on tops of the many blades. Also, look even more intently and notice the rocks below the water surface. I would bet you had not noticed until now, had you?
