PERSONAL NOTE
We spent a week in Mexico and while there were some nice sunsets during our stay, there was nothing extraordinary. On the day we were scheduled to fly back to Denver, a heavy snow-storm raged there shutting down the airport completely. Our flight was canceled and we were forced to stay an additional 4 days in Mexico.
On the very last evening I decided to go out for sunset shooting. However, I was not prepared for what was about to unfold. What I witnessed was one of the most intense sunsets I have ever seen anywhere in the world. Not only that but it lasted forever. The reds were so strong and saturated that it was quite unbelievable.
The photo you see here was taken long after the sun had dipped below the horizon. It was getting dark but the bright glow above the horizon remained for a very long time. This was truly an unforgettable photography evening by the ocean.
