When I look at this image with its wildflowers and waterfall I picture a beautiful garden in heaven where angelic beings gather. It is a place of peace and rest filled with beautiful flowers and vibrant colors. Through it trickles down a gentle waterfall with the purest water there is. The sight is so beautiful that once you look at it, it is hard to take your eyes off of it. This magnificent garden is a place where angels come to rest and refresh themselves by drinking from the waterfall.
I almost missed this charming sight of the wildflower waterfall in the Faroe Islands. It was tucked in on the side of a steep shore, just a few yards above the ocean water. It was not very easy to get to and my long lens compensated for the last little bit of the distance, which was blocked by the ocean. The image was taken on my last day of the trip and only minutes before I had to head back for my flight. What a beautiful way to finish an amazing photography trip!
