I drove down the entire length of the Florida Keys, all the way to Key West and back, in search of a spot that showcased the magnificent turquoise ocean waters. This photograph represents what I wanted to capture rather well. Explore its simplicity and feel the calming mood that it brings. The water is gentle and peaceful. The ocean color is so spectacular that it cannot but draw the viewer in. The clouds are fluffy and cottony, balancing the landscape above the ocean.
On this sunny day I was blessed with weather, light, colors and shapes that formed a magnificent scene. With a private view that only few have seen, and even fewer photographed, I was very fortunate to be in the right place and at the right time. As a nature photographer I sometimes find an uncomplicated landscape, as this, much more charming than other sophisticated ones. The simple beauty of land, ocean, and sky is just unforgettable.
