Lake Boat Reflection, Norway
An amazing view of a beautiful lake boat, with the reflection of the face of a mountain lit by the rising sun. The water is absolutely free of any waves or ripples, creating a glass-like effect. Green trees, shrubs, and grass surround the lake on this quiet early morning.
I framed this image very purposefully by excluding the mountain from the frame, but showing its presence in the water reflection. It reminds me of the invisible attributes of God, seen in His creation inspired by the Bible verse – Romans 1:20 – “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse”. In other words, even though we cannot see God, we can know His attributes (such as His eternal power) because they are reflected in the amazing things He has created around us. The same way this photograph does not actually display the mountain, but we know it is there because its attributes are reflected in the water.
