Boat on a Calm Lake, Norway
A beautiful handcrafted boat on an absolutely still lake with green mountain sides and a water stream coming down the side. The mood is quiet, calm, and quite soothing.

This is a special image for me for several reasons. One, it was a marvelous opportunity, which I almost missed, because I barely noticed the lake and the boat, driving down a mountain road.

Two, because everything was absolutely and beautifully perfect. It was about 4:30am and there was no one else around. The air and atmosphere were absolutely still, which caused the water surface to be super smooth. In addition, out of any boats I could have had, I would have chosen this perfect boat, made of beautiful wood boards. It looked like an absolute work of art.

Three, because I felt the favor of God that morning for giving me this incredible opportunity. I had been hoping for a similar scene but what I actually encountered was far superior than what I had hoped for. The calm water of the lake also reminds me of Jesus’ incredible power, which was manifested in the example of Him calming a storm, as told by Mark: “And He got up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Hush, be still.” And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm. And He said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They became very much afraid and said to one another, “Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?” – Mark 4:39-41

When you purchase LImited Edition Gintchin Fine Art prints I will personally mail you (separately from the image) a Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing the identity and edition number of your new art piece.

In addition, all of my Limited Edition prints come signed, as well as indicate the print edition number. That way, the edition number on the print matches the one on your Certificate of Authenticity.
