A delightful merging of aspen trunks and pinewood creates a delicate mesh of trees. Nowhere else so far have I seen such a symmetrical fusion of evergreen and deciduous trees. The forest is so compact that one cannot even see through it. And somehow it all stops abruptly in a vertical wall. Where I stood when taking the image is a wide open meadow with grass. What a mysterious but beautiful arrangement.
