Although this panoramic landscape is dominated by aspen trees, we see a small group of spruce proudly standing in the midst. The two types of trees are so different from one another, but at the same time compliment each other so well. One is dark, and the other is bright. One has small and sharp leaves, and the other has large and flat ones. One changes its leaf colors, and the other does not. One replaces its leaves annually and the other keeps them. One is narrow on the bottom and large at the top, while the other has the reverse proportions. Does the saying “opposites attract” apply here?
